The 6" W x 8" H Portrait Black Carbon Steel Hood is a cutting-edge, universal outdoor rain guard designed to protect access control devices from the elements. Ideal for pedestrian and vehicle access points like parking facilities or gated entries, it ensures the safety of card readers, intercoms, keypads, and exit/entry buttons from weather and other potential threats. Made from 16-gauge steel, it's an exterior hood perfect for gooseneck stands. The overhang extends 2.75" and tapers down to a sidewall at 1.75". Built with a large 1.8" diameter access hole centered on the back side with multiple .25" knockouts to match up to any wall or pedestal.
